- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease or line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Peel and mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl until slightly chunky.
- Whisk the eggs into the mashed bananas until the mixture is smooth and fully blended.
- Gently fold in the cake mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing to maintain a light texture.
- If desired, stir in any optional add-ins such as nuts, spices, or chocolate chips.
- Add the batter to the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
- Allow the bread to rest in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Use an oven thermometer to ensure your oven is properly preheated. Mix ingredients just until combined to avoid a dense loaf. To make muffins, divide the batter into a greased muffin tin and bake for 15–20 minutes.
