- Place the ground bison in a large bowl and add all the spices and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently with your hands until just combined.
- Form the mixture into four patties, each about 4 ounces, 3 inches wide, and 1/2 inch thick. Press a small dimple in the center of each patty.
- Preheat your grill, grill pan, or contact grill over medium-high heat. Lightly brush with avocado oil to prevent sticking.
- Cook the patties for about 4 minutes per side, or 4 minutes total on a dual-contact grill, for medium doneness.
- Remove from heat and let the patties rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For safety, cook ground meat to an internal temperature of 160°F. To keep burgers juicy, mix gently and don’t overcook. Fresh chopped onion, garlic, and parsley can be used instead of dried seasonings for extra flavor. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat gently.
